Thorny Thursday is a relaxed weekly comedy night at Secret Comedy Club where comedians try out new, fresh material in front of a live audience.
Throughout the night, different comedians perform short stand-up sets, testing ideas and talking about whatever’s been going on in their lives that week.
Alongside the comedy, the hosts invite the audience to share moments from their own week — the good ones, the bad ones, and the unexpected ones. A few of these are read out and talked about during the show, creating a light, informal atmosphere where the room feels involved without any pressure.
The result is a night that mixes stand-up comedy with real, relatable moments — sometimes funny, sometimes frustrating, often familiar.
